2022

In the spring of 2022, I was fortunate enough to work on a dream project for ODESZA, a seattle-based electronic music duo. As a huge fan of their music for years, it was an honor to contribute to THE LAST GOODBYE, their most recent tour.

I was tasked with the creation of a character that would serve as a symbolic icon of the show. I also did some animation work as well as research and development for the intro visuals.

In August 2022, I had the chance to witness the fruits of my labor during their performance at Forest Hills Stadium in New York. It was by far one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had since the start of my journey as a visual artist.

My design was also used to create physical masks for the notorious ODESZA drumline.

Character Design

Here is the character I created for THE LAST GOODBYE tour. Below you can see the different visuals in which it was featured.

Still frames

Select stills from the final visuals for "This Version of You" (show's intro) and "All My Life".

Research & Development

Various environments and style explorations for the visuals for "This Version of You", the show's intro.

From Digital to Physical

It was surreal to see the team develop physical masks for their famous drumline. On multiple occasions during the set, one can see them playing on stage while wearing the mask I designed.

The physical masks were designed and made by Dark Moon Designs.
